The Labor Party’s Climate Change Action Plan is a set of policies and initiatives to tackle climate change and build a cleaner, fairer and more prosperous economy.

The Plan sets out how a Labor Government will take real action on climate change, invest in renewable energy and create jobs in new industries.

The Plan is based on the latest scientific evidence and advice from the world’s leading climate scientists. It is also informed by the experiences of countries that have already made the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The Plan has three key pillars:

  1. Reducing emissions
  2. Investing in renewable energy
  3. Creating jobs in new industries
